Book signing at Burke’s on Thursday, December 2

Memphian Andria Lisle along with Amie Plumley and Justin Fox Burks will be at Burke’s Book Store on Thursday, December 2, from 5:30-6:30pm to sign copies of their new book, Sewing School: 24 Hand-Sewing Projects Kids will Love to Make (The Storey Books, $16.95). This event coincides with the monthly Cooper-Young Neighborhood Night Out.

Andria Lisle, freelance journalist and author of Waking Up in Memphis, writes about music, food, and pop culture for The Commercial Appeal newspaper and the Memphis Flyer alt-weekly, as well as for myriad magazines including Paste, MOJO, and Garden and Gun. When not at her laptop, she loves to sew. She lives in Memphis, Tennessee.
