Free CPR training at the Health and Wellness Fair on January 22
On January 22, from 9am-12pm there will be free CPR training as well as a Health and Wellness Fair taking place at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral (700 Poplar Ave). This community service project offered by the University Of Tennessee College Of Pharmacy is to increase awareness of heart disease risk within our community. This is a free event for anyone interested in learning the life saving skills of CPR or who wish to learn about their risk of heart related illness.
Participation in the CPR training is limited to those on a first come, first serve basis. There is no charge for participants. No CPR certification cards will be issued. Registration is not required to attend the free health fair which will occur simultaneously from 9am-12pm. The health fair will include blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings, bone density tests, physical wellness information, and more. All participants will be eligible for door prizes!
