Severe Weather and Flooding Updates

MEMPHIS, TN, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 — The American Red Cross is helping those affected by the recent round of severe weather and preparing for the threat of flooding across the Mid-South.

Currently, the chapter is supporting the following shelters in the Mid-South and West Tennessee:

  • TUNICA COUNTY, MS

  • DYER COUNTY, TN
    • Dyersburg 1st Assembly of God, 730 E. Court Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024
  • OBION COUNTY, TN
    • Second Baptist Church, 831 Everett Blvd., Union City, TN 38261

The Mid-South Chapter is ready to respond to the changing needs of the community due to flooding in the Mid-South and across West Tennessee.
