Theatre Memphis announces that the popularity of the Gershwin-inspired Crazy for You currently running on the Lohrey Stage has led to adding a performance at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 22. According to Theatre Memphis Executive Producer Debbie Litch, “The regular run of the show has limited available seating remaining so an additional performance will give more of the community an opportunity to see this amazing show.” The regular run of Crazy for You is Thursdays – Sundays through June 26.
In response to another sold out show, Theatre Memphis will be bringing [title of show] back to the Next Stage, July 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30. The January run was attended by a capacity audience, and the requests to restage it were taken to heart. The original cast will return featuring Brennan Villines, Stephen Garrett, Amy Nicole Polumbo, and Jaclyn Suffel. Director Cecelia Wingate and Musical Director (and cast member) Kermit Medsker will return as well.
