Contact: Jonathan Turner

September 26, 2011- Memphis, TN- Turner Stone recently opened its doors in the historic midtown Cooper Young area, moving its operation to 792 South Cooper.

The company specializes in granite and marble countertops, interior and exterior stone and tile flooring, showers, brick and stone patios and walkways. Founded in 2006, owner Jonathan Turner left his career as a boilermaker and opened his tile and stone business in South Memphis. Recognizing the need for expansion, Turner found a prime location in the midtown area, opening his doors in late August. His new location now offers an inventory of marble slabs.

Turner has both residential and commercial experience, working for individuals as well as an apartment community. He completed the showroom of a leading granite distributor, and is looking to provide new services to hotels in the Southeast region.

“My business has primarily moved toward the fabrication and installation of granite and marble countertops, although I am skilled and open to working on other remodeling projects,” said Turner.

He said that his new location gives him the opportunity to be a part of a closely-knit business association, and he is optimistic about the future of his company.

“I am in an optimal location on South Cooper, and I have already made connections in the neighborhood. I look forward to working in an area where business owners and employees care about their neighbors and promote the growth and success of their community,” said Turner.
