R&B artist Apollo Mighty headlines First Thursday

First Thursday Night Out is when the business owners in hip-storic Cooper Young stay open late and dish out some fun! Join us between 5-9 p.m. to get in on drawings, discounts and live music around the area.

At the Gazebo this month, join us for some great tunes by Apollo Mighty. Apollo Mighty is a singer/songwriter from Memphis, TN. From a young age, Apollo has had a strong passion for music. Most recently, he has released a trilogy of EPs collectively called “Project 369.” The first EP, III, was released in August 2013; VI, the second EP, was exclusively released on DJBooth.net in January 2014. On September 9th, Apollo released the final EP, IX, on DJBooth.net.

Also this month at First Thursday Night Out, Imagine Vegan has two-for-one beer specials. discounts on drinks and appetizers can also be found at the bar at Beauty Shop and Bar DKDC. Sweet Grass has a three course special, Throwback Thursday, with recipes from Chef Ryan Trimm’s childhood on the plate. It’s “buy one adult entree and get one child entree for free” at Young Avenue Deli and Soul Fish Cafe as well as Trivia Night at the Deli.
