The 3rd Winter Jubilee Fundraiser, benefitting the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market, will be Sunday, November 16. The event will be held 2-6 p.m. in the new Memphis Made Brewery tap room at 768 S. Cooper.
Besides local beer, the event will include: a roasted whole hog from Renaissance Farms, farm fresh local veggies New market merchandise, children’s games, live music from local bands, a chance to bid in our all-local silent auction, a first look at our plans to beautify and build-out our market site, and an opportunity to meet and learn about the many devoted people and ministries of First Congregational Church, with whom we work daily
Tickets for the event are $25 and are available online at Eventbrite.com.
In other market news, the Tsunami Winter Farmers’ Market returns on November 1. This small, food-centic market is held 9 a.m.-noon every Saturday November through March in the north parking lot of Tsunami Restaurant, 928 S. Cooper. Vendors include Gracious Gardens, Flora Gardens, Lazy Dog Farms, Ki Kitchen, Russell & Sons Trading Co., and Cucina Breads.
