Cooper-Young artist Brit McDaniel was recently named a runner-up in the Home category of Garden & Gun Magazine’s annual “Made in the South Awards” for her pottery. A Memphis native, McDaniel runs Paper & Clay, her small ceramics studio, out of Cooper-Young’s Art Factory. Her midcentury American and Scandinavian-inspired designs have been featured in New York Magazine, Design*Sponge, Home & Hill Magazine and recognized by major retailer Anthropologie.
