Bike coop relocates, solicits survey respondents

Revolutions Bicycle Co-Op at First Congo is relocating down the hallway of the building at 1000 S. Cooper.

Established in 2002, Revolutions helps people gain the tools and knowledge to rehabilitate and recycle bicycles and is also dedicated to providing all Memphians — particularly the working poor of Memphis — with bicycles that function well.

True to its DIY philosophy Revolutions has asked its members for helping remodeling its new space. The group currently has three night dedicated to preparing the space: Sundays 2-6 p.m., Mondays 6:30-9 p.m., Thursdays 6:30-9 p.m.

In other bike news, First Congo has applied to the League of American Bicyclists to be certified as a Bicycle Friendly Business. As part of its application, it is asking users to fill out a short survey on their experiences with First Congo. They survey is available online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BFB_Spring2015_243.
