Parade of Easter events at Fairgrounds March 28
The nearby Mid-South Fairgrounds is hosting two Easter events on March 28.
The Easter Eggs-travaganza at The Children’s Museum of Memphis is from 10am-1pm. Eggtivities include an appearance by the Easter Bunny, face painting, an egg roll, bunny toss and crafts.
Bring your own Easter Baskets and stay for the age-divided Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 11:30. There will also be an adult hunt that features three golden eggs with family memberships as prizes! Find a Peter Rabbit egg, and it will be filled with a special prize! Be sure to stay for the best decorated Easter basket and Easter hat contest. Judging will be at noon. Prizes will be CMOM family memberships for 1st place winners and gift certificates to the Village Toymaker for 2nd and 3rd place winners. Admission for members is free and $15 for non-members. All activities and museum admission are included in the ticket price.
Come early for a Yummy Bunny Breakfast on 9:30-10:30 am. Enjoy a plate of delicious pancakes, sausage, pastries and orange juice while visiting with the Easter Bunny. Pose for a special photo and make an Easter craft. Space is limited and reservations are required. Members are $12 and non-members are $15. At the Kroc Center, the Ballet on Wheels Dance School holds its annual Easter Basket Drive & Free Dance Camp 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
