Deejays spin in gazebo
WQOX 88.5FM’s House In The MidSouth (HITM) deejays will be playing music at the Cooper-Young Gazebo on Saturday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 9th. The music begins at 7 p.m. at the historic corner of Cooper and Young. Come out and enjoy a mix of dance, disco, and house music and meet the HITM DJs. 88.5 FM brings music that appeals to the whole family.
House in the MidSouth can be heard every Friday night from 10 p.m. to midnight and every Saturday night from midnight to 2 a.m. Organized by ShangSilk, HITM has gained a large, diverse following for regularly featuring some of the most talented and well-known house deejays from Memphis and Chicago.
Known as the “voice of Shelby County Schools,” 88.5 FM is owned and operated by the school system. It supports and promotes the achievements of the entire district in Shelby County and beyond and serves as a training ground for students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting.
