Sustainability initiative takes center at May meeting
Spring has fully sprung in Memphis, and it’s got us thinking about all the great ways we can become a more sustainable community.
For the past few years, the City of Memphis has been working with other cities throughout the Mississippi Delta to create Mid-South Regional Greenprint, a new plan for sustainability throughout our region.
We’re excited to welcome a representative from this great team to our May community meeting on Tuesday the 10th. We’ll be learning about how this plan might impact our community plus finding out ways that we can join the team.
The meeting will take place at our office at 2298 Young and get started at 6 p.m. with a social half hour.
Don’t have your tickets for the first annual Cooper-Young Garden Walk yet? We’ll have them for sale at the meeting along with volunteer sign ups. We hope to see you there!
